Everyone Active is the UK’s longest-established leisure provider. Formed in 1987, it has just celebrated its 31st successful year in operation.
Managing more than 170 leisure facilities across the country in partnership with 52 local authority partners, Everyone Active offers extensive opportunities for people of all abilities to improve their skills and confidence in the water.
Everyone Active’s involvement with Swimathon dates back 11 years, during which it has raised considerable funds for charities such as Marie Curie and Sport Relief. This year, almost 100 Everyone Active pools will be participating in Swimathon.
Fusion Lifestyle is a leading independent registered charity which provides quality sport, leisure and fitness activities and facilities to local communities. We are experienced in restoring, redeveloping and renovating leisure facilities and we are committed to inclusive access to sports and fitness benefiting the entire community.
As a registered charity, all profits generated are reinvested in facilities and service improvement. In recent years, we have enabled the investment of more than £150m breathing life back into community facilities. Every week, we teach 47k children to swim, delivering 3.5 million swimming lessons per year. Last year we raised over £80,000 for Swimathon with over 850 swimmers taking part at 42 sites.
Better makes community services and spaces better for everyone. And for them, it’s about more than just money. As a charitable social enterprise, Better work for the good of the communities they operate in, with Better people investing time, energy and effort into helping and improving lives through the services they offer.
Better are the largest operator of public swimming facilities in the UK with over 140 pools, and have supported the Swimathon event for many years. With over 70 pools registered for 2019’s event, and fundraising topping £300,000 in recent years, next year is shaping up to be another great event for the Better team.
Parkwood Leisure, a leading leisure management company have over 20 years experience in the leisure and fitness industry. Having recently secured the UK Water Leisure Operator of the Year award for two years consecutively, they are committed to delivering inclusive sport and fitness as well as a safe environment for all.
Parkwood Leisure has supported Swimathon for a number of year and recent events have seen an impressive £91,000 raised, with over a 1000 swimmers taking part. Back again for the 2019 event with the anticipation of delivering another successful event in the 30 centres taking part.

Places Leisure is a leading leisure and wellness partner delivering fitness, sport, health and wellbeing and is driven by its mission ‘to create active places and healthy people’. We primarily work with Local Authorities to deliver the right kinds of health and physical activity outcomes that make a difference to the lives of people and their communities; it’s about more than operating facilities.
Places Leisure has supported Swimathon for 10 years and over this period, has raised an impressive £1.8 million for charitable causes. With 74 of our sites registered for Swimathon 2019, we’re looking forward to raising even more and being part of the ‘world’s largest fundraising swim’.
Freedom Leisure is a not-for-profit leisure trust which manages leisure and cultural facilities on behalf of partners across the UK. Freedom Leisure wholeheartedly recognises the importance of swimming for the nation; as a sport without boundaries, but also fun for all the family as well as a crucial lifesaving skill! For these reasons we are proud that in the last year alone to have facilitated nearly 3 million swims while also teaching over 31.5k individuals to learn to swim.
We have supported Swimathon every year since starting, accommodating thousands of participants, raising thousands of pounds and supporting thousands of staff to get involved – In 2018 Freedom Leisure proudly won the inaugural Swimathon Corporate Challenge with the biggest participating staff team, swimming the furthest distance and raising the most funds.
